A leading automotive finance company, located in Irvine, CA, is seeking a Project Coordinator for a 9 month contract role.
This role will be responsible for assisting in various strategic business activities, including but not limited to system Relaunch, Reinsurance, risk management, and partner/vendor management, as well as related products/opportunities to support insurance growth.
Duties and Responsibilities
*Reinsurance Program Management
o Help manage outsourced support at reinsurance administrator.
o Conduct weekly touch base to ensure all aspects of program are being addressed.
o Assist in the development of reinsurance Proforma’s as requested by the field.
o Assist in Develop and deliver Term & Conditions (T&C) to field for dealer engagement.
o Monitor CFC set up and review all contacts before dealer submission.
o Help attain signatures for contracts, surplus releases, Clawbacks.
o Track and ensure program are meeting expectation and if not work with field for remedial actions.
o Assist in development and enhance program attributes to meet market demands.
o Assist in the development of HCIC board material as it related to Reinsurance program.
*P&C Cross Sell Partner Management:
o Ensure monthly file is sent each month and volume are in line with expectations.
o Monitor commission paid and report to accounting and Treasury.
oParticipate in the review of all Direct Mail, Email, Website Creative to ensure meets Branding and legal guidelines.
o Review program concepts to ensure in line with Branding /legal guidelines/resources & benefits.
o Review and report on program performance include forecasting annual revenue for budget.
*Insurance Vendor Management
oParticipate / lead weekly (or bi-weekly vendor / partner calls / touch base)
o Manage CLIP table to ensure correct and modify as needed.
o Ensure Product and Operations address Partner requirements.
oProviding advance notice for review of changes to Reserve and earning paths
o Ensure monthly file is remitted and monitor any correction or issues that develop in process.
o Monitor invoicing to ensure paid.
o Act as liaison between organizations on any CLIP or filing issues.
o Support annual audit needs.
oSchedule/manage partner/risk reviews (1-2x year)
o Act as program Sponsor for file fixes when needed
* Risk Management
o Support period program risk reviews
o Support management of earning path studies and implementation manager
* All other duties as assigned
Knowledge and Skills
*Excellent Microsoft Office skills; strong Excel and PowerPoint skills are required
* Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate to all levels of management
*Familiarity with Salesforce.com (preferred, but not required)
*Previous experience in Automotive, Insurance or Service Contracts desired
* Very High attention to detail
* Ability to conduct professional dialogue with consult and train both field AND Dealers
* Vendor Management Skills
*Willingness and desire to ensure standard processes take place correctly in routine manner and step in and ensure any issues get resolved in timely manner
Education and Experience
* BA/BS Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or another related field.
* 2 Years related work experience
