Job Description
- Manage and optimize enterprise Linux (RHEL) infrastructure in on-prem environments.
- Troubleshoot complex issues across infrastructure, applications, IoT systems, and networks.
- Work with IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, switching, firewalls, authentication, and network segmentation.
- Support and maintain IoT systems (e.g., Siemens BMS, DemandFlow, WinPM, HatchData, Lutron, PointGrab, Monnit, Kaiterra, Enlighted, ThinkLite).
- Automate operational tasks using Perl/Python/PowerShell and improve CI/CD workflows.
- Manage VMware environments and support deployment processes.
- Utilize tools like SSH, Wireshark, Nagios, Splunk, and Grafana for monitoring and diagnostics.
- Perform basic database operations on SQL Server and Sybase.
Requirements
- Minimum 8 years of experience in an enterprise infrastructure environment.
- Strong Linux (RHEL) administration experience in on-prem setups.
- Hands-on experience with networking technologies and security frameworks.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex infrastructure and application issues.
- Experience with IoT systems (preferred).
- Knowledge of scripting languages: Perl, Python, or PowerShell.
- Familiarity with VMware, CI/CD processes, and monitoring tools (Nagios, Splunk, Grafana).
