Job Description
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and highly available Azure cloud infrastructure.
- Architect solutions involving virtualization, cloud networking, and infrastructure automation.
- Collaborate on cloud modernization initiatives, including DevOps pipeline enhancement and infrastructure as code (IaC).
- Provide expert-level support and administration of both Linux and Windows systems in hybrid and cloud environments.
- Oversee MySQL database deployments and ensure performance, availability, and security within Azure environments.
- Develop and enforce network security best practices, including management of VNETs, NSGs, VPNs, and firewalls.
- Apply advanced cloud design patterns and architecture principles to build fault-tolerant, cost-optimized solutions.
- Guide and mentor junior engineers and collaborate with cross-functional teams across infrastructure, application, and security domains.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation on architecture, procedures, and configurations.
- Support compliance and operational requirements, including monitoring, logging, and incident management.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10 years of IT experience, with a minimum of 5 years in Microsoft Azure cloud engineering.
- Expertise in Azure IaaS and PaaS services (VMs, Storage, Networking, AKS, App Services, etc.).
- Strong experience with DevOps tools and pipelines, particularly involving MySQL, CI/CD, Git, and automation frameworks (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).
- Proficient in cloud network architecture, including protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, etc.).
- Hands-on experience with Linux and Windows server administration.
- Strong grasp of modern cloud design patterns, security frameworks, and best practices.
- Excellent troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills.
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-104, AZ-305, or Azure Solutions Architect Expert) are highly preferred.
