Position: Community Outreach Coordinator

Location: Lakewood, WA

Pay: $29 to $30.35/hour (Depending on experience)

Experience

• 3 years of experience in account development, sales, or customer relationship management, preferably supporting community-based programs.
• Working knowledge of the public transportation industry is preferred.
  
  

Education: Associate's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent experience (education may be substituted on a year-for-year basis).

Type: Full-time; Contract (4 Months)

Schedule: Various hours, 8 to 10-hour shifts (24 to 40 hours a week)

Logic Staffing is seeking a Community Outreach Coordinator to join our team!

Job Description

• Assist with planning, organizing, and staffing community outreach and engagement events.
• Represent the company at community events, fairs, presentations, and other outreach activities.
• Provide information on company services and programs, including fixed route bus service, ORCA programs, rideshare, and other agency initiatives.
• Support event logistics, including set-up and tear-down of outreach booths and transportation of materials.
• Coordinate with Community Development staff regarding event schedules, locations, and materials.
• Engage professionally with community members, employers, organizations, and internal staff.
• Perform related duties in support of Community Development programs and initiatives.
• Transport supplies and materials, set up and tear down outreach booths, and travel to various community locations.
  
  

Position Requirements

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Basic computer skills and comfort with learning internal systems and tools.
• Demonstrated knowledge of applicable local, state, and federal laws, rules, and regulations.
• Possess and maintain a valid Washington State driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Familiarity with filing systems, recordkeeping standards, and general office procedures.
• Comfortable engaging with the public and communicating with people from diverse backgrounds
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Excellent customer service and relationship-building skills.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Able and willing to work on-site and travel to locations throughout Pierce County.
