Swing Shift Warehouse Lead

Position: Warehouse Lead

Location: Sumner, WA

Pay: This position has a fixed rate of $24.50/hour

Experience:

• 2 years of leadership experience within a warehouse environment is required.
• Previous warehouse experience.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Sunday - Thursday, 5:00pm to 1:30am (Ability to work overtime as needed)

Job Description:

• Pick and pack orders.
• Ensure a lean and streamlined workflow.
• Maintain and organize department floor and workstations.
• Perform job duties required by management.
• Discuss emerging issues with night management or employees.
• Load and unload goods from trucks or containers.
• Assist with the receiving, sorting, and storing of inventory.
• Palletize, re-stack, and wrap inventory.
• Prepare pallets for shipments.
• Provide employee training on warehouse procedures.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment by following all safety protocols.
• Label, seal, and ensure products are securely packaged for safe transport.
• Adhere to all safety and operational guidelines to minimize risks and prevent accidents.
• Communicate with warehouse staff and teammates regarding daily tasks and assignments.
• Work with a sense of urgency always.
• Perform other general labor tasks as requested.

Position Requirements:

• Previous leadership experience within a warehouse environment is required.
• Excellent computer and Excel skills.
• Must have good verbal and written communication capabilities.
• Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
