Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Tech Lead / Lead Software Engineer – Java. The role is located in O'Fallon, MO. The Tech Lead will be responsible for leading a team of software engineers, designing and developing high-quality software solutions, and ensuring the application of best practices in software development. Day-to-day tasks include code reviews, mentoring team members, managing project timelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and troubleshooting technical issues.
Qualifications
- Strong expertise in Java, Java EE, and related frameworks
- Experience with software development methodologies, including Agile/Scrum
- Proficiency in frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and Angular or React
- Familiarity with databases and SQL programming
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proven leadership and team management capabilities
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience in cloud technologies and DevOps is a plus
