Job Description:
Logex Transportation LLC is seeking an experienced Operations Manager with a strong background in the trucking and logistics industry. The ideal candidate will oversee daily operations, optimize fleet performance, manage drivers, and ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day trucking operations, dispatch, and logistics coordination
- Supervise drivers and ensure adherence to company policies and safety standards
- Monitor fleet performance, maintenance schedules, and fuel efficiency
- Ensure full compliance with DOT, FMCSA, and ELD/logbook requirements
- Handle load planning, route optimization, and cost control
- Coordinate with brokers, shippers, and internal departments
- Analyze KPIs and implement operational improvements
Requirements:
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in trucking or transportation operations
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, HOS, and safety compliance
- Experience managing drivers and dispatch teams
- Proficiency with TMS systems, ELD platforms, and logistics software
- Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
Preferred:
- Experience with reefer operations
- Strong network within freight brokerage or carrier industry
