About the Role
Logan View Public Schools is seeking a passionate and dedicated Elementary Music Teacher to join our learning community. Key Responsibilities

Plan and deliver engaging music lessons aligned with curriculum standards

Teach courses such as instrumental music, vocal music, general music, music theory, or ensembles (based on school needs)

Lead rehearsals, performances, concerts, and school music events

Assess student progress and provide timely, constructive feedback

Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment

Collaborate with colleagues, administrators, and support staff

Communicate effectively with students, families, and the school community

Participate in staff meetings, professional development, and school activities
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Music Education or a related field

Valid teaching certification/licensure in Music (or eligibility to obtain)

Experience teaching secondary-level students preferred

Strong classroom management and organizational skills

Ability to motivate and connect with diverse learners

Experience with ensembles, performance programs, or extracurricular music activities is an asset
