We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have experience in operating press brake machinery and a strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes. This role is critical in ensuring high-quality production standards and efficiency in our operations.
Responsibilities
- Operate and set up press brake machines to bend and shape metal sheets according to specifications.
- Program the press brake for various jobs, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
- Utilize precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances of finished products.
- Perform quality inspections on completed parts to ensure they meet company standards.
- Assemble components using hand tools and other equipment as necessary.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues with machinery or production processes.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety protocols at all times.
- Fabricate parts as needed, utilizing knowledge of machining techniques and stamping press operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of sheet metal fabrication processes and techniques.
- Proficiency in programming press brake machinery for various production runs.
- Familiarity with hand tools, precision measuring instruments, and quality inspection methods.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Knowledge of electrical discharge machining is a plus but not required.
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Schedule
1st Shift 7am - 3:30 pm Mon - Fri
OT 5am - 3:30 pm Mon -Fri SOME Saturdays
