MachinistJob Description:Located in Braintree, MAContract manufacturing company, is looking for a CNC Machinist to join their team in Braintree MA!This role focuses on high-precision machining, requiring strong skills in programming, setup, and operation of both CNC and manual machinesSchedule: Monday-Thursday, 6:00am-4:30pmPay: Based on ExperienceResponsibilities:Program and operate CNC machines based on component blueprintsSet up tooling and make edit changes to maintain production qualityOperate manual lathes, Bridgeport machines, and drill pressesWork closely with engineering and production teams to meet quality standardsPerform preventative maintenance and troubleshoot machine issuesEnsure a clean and organized machine shop environmentQualifications, Skills and Experience:4 years of experience in CNC machining and manual machiningAbility to read blueprints and use CNC programming languagesProficient with measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, comparators)High school diploma or GED required; technical degree preferredStrong communication skills and ability to work independentlyMachinist Certificate preferredComfortable handling raw metal stock and conducting precision measurements
