We’re hiring a Customer Support Representative / AV Technician to support a growing team focused on delivering high-quality technical service and customer experience. This is a hands-on, hybrid role combining customer support, system staging, and field service work.
Overview
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, troubleshooting technical issues, and getting hands-on with equipment. You’ll play a key role in both support operations and on-site service delivery.
Responsibilities
- Manage customer support tickets and coordinate service scheduling
- Provide remote troubleshooting and technical support
- Stage and test systems prior to installation
- Travel to customer sites (U.S.) for installs, repairs, and service work
- Support system installations and ensure proper functionality
- Maintain accurate documentation of service activity and updates
Requirements
- 2 years of AV technical support or field service experience
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Zendesk, etc.)
- Familiarity with ERP systems (Epicor/Kinetic preferred)
- Understanding of CTS standards (or similar AV knowledge)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working directly with customers
- Ability to travel 1–2 times per month (air travel required)
Work Environment
- Hybrid: 3–4 days onsite
- Must be located within 60 miles of the office
- Travel to customer sites as needed
Compensation & Details
- Salary: $50,000 – $65,000
- Employment Type: Full-time or Contract
