An EVS Manager plays a vital role in creating and maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our patients, residents, visitors, and staff. We’re looking for a hands-on leader with a positive attitude, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of environmental services throughout our facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, direct, and oversee the functions and activities of the Environmental Services department
- Maintain the facility in a sanitary and orderly condition while ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements
- Serve as a working manager by performing EVS duties, including cleaning, disinfecting, and maintaining assigned areas as needed
- Select, train, schedule, and assign departmental staff
- Evaluate staff performance and provide ongoing coaching and development
- Conduct routine inspections of facility cleanliness and departmental appearance
- Ensure proper infection prevention and environmental cleaning practices are followed
- Communicate effectively with department leaders and staff to support daily operations
