Responsibilities
- Assist with the preparation of construction sites, including unloading materials and setting up equipment
- Support skilled tradespeople such as carpenters, electricians, and plumbers in their tasks
- Perform basic construction duties such as framing, drywall installation, and concrete work under supervision
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency
- Follow all safety protocols and use personal protective equipment at all times
- Operate hand tools and light machinery as trained
- Load and unload materials, supplies, and equipment needed for projects
- Assist with site cleanup and debris removal to keep the worksite safe and tidy
Experience
- Prior experience in construction or manual labor is required; training will be provided for entry-level candidates
- Must have experience with full unit remodeling and renovation
- Experience in painting, make-ready, renovation, flooring, carpentry, concrete work, roofing, etc.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy materials, standing for extended periods, and working in various weather conditions
- Basic knowledge of construction tools and safety procedures is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to follow instructions accurately
- A valid driver’s license is mandatory; reliable transportation is required for job site access
- Must be willing and available to travel out of town and state for work
