What are the responsibilities and job description for the Mental Health Counselor position at Logan Community Services?
Pay: $30.00 - $53.00 per hour (dependent upon service type and experience)
Logan Community Services in an outpatient mental health and substance abuse counseling agency located in Guthrie, OK. We serve the needs of Logan County by providing counseling and case management services to youth, adolescents, and adults in need. We work closely with DHS, Logan County Drug Court, and the Office of Juvenile Affairs to provide prevention services and to meet the needs of the community in a helpful way.
Description:
The outpatient therapist at Logan Community Services will develop treatment plans and provide individual, group, and family therapy to clients as needed. This is a contract position and pay is based on reimbursement from billable time. The position allows for you to make your own schedule and is flexible to meet your needs based on what type of client's you want to work with. There are no productivity requirements and pay is provided for non-billable time (i.e., time spent writing progress notes, attending meetings, etc.). The agency will pay for most trainings. Options for supervision are available for candidates. Options for TeleHealth are available.
Requirements:
- Applicants should have a master's degree in counseling psychology, marriage and family therapy, or related field.
- Applicants should have a valid license to practice counseling in the state of Oklahoma (LPC, LMFT, LADC) and be in good standing. Candidates for licensure are also acceptable.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy to youth, adolescents, and/or adults
- Provide case management to individuals as needed
- Maintain organized and confidential records according to CARF and ODMHSAS standards
