Overview: Shop welder fabricator
MUST BE ABLE TO READ BLUEPRINTS PROFICIENTLY
We are seeking a skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in welding, fabrication, and mechanical knowledge to contribute to our projects.
Responsibilities:
- Weld components in flat, vertical, or overhead positions
- Read and interpret blueprints to understand project specifications
- Fabricate and assemble metal structures using equipment such as FCAW welders
- Perform soldering, grinding, and cutting operations as needed
- Utilize power tools and hand tools for cutting, bending, and shaping metal
- Inspect and test welded structures to ensure they meet quality standards
Qualifications:
- Proficient in welding techniques including FCAW
- Mechanical knowledge for fabricating metal components
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints accurately
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Experience with ductwork fabrication is a plus
- Familiarity with assembling and disassembling machinery
- Competency in using power tools for metalworking tasks

-3-5 years experience preffered
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
