What You Will Do:
Greet guests warmly and professionally upon arrival.
Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists using thehotel'sreservation system.
Escort guests to their tables and provide menus.
Communicate estimated wait times and accommodate special seating requests when possible.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and entrance area.
Answer phone calls andassistwith inquiriesregardinghours, menus, and reservations.
Coordinate with servers and managers to ensuretimelyseating and guest satisfaction.
Monitor dining room flow and adjust seating plans as needed.
Assistwith guest recovery and resolve minor concerns with empathy and professionalism.
Follow all hotel policies and procedures to ensure a safe and welcoming environment.
Regular and reliable attendance inconformancewith company standards.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Your Qualifications Include:
Previousexperience in hospitality, customer service, or restaurant hosting preferred.
Strong communicationand interpersonal skills.
Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Familiarity with reservation systems and basic computer skills.
Flexibility toworkvarying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
Physical ability to stand for extended periods and move throughout the restaurant.
