What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rooms Controller position at Loews Hotels & Co.?

Preferred Qualifications: English language communications required. Excellent customer service skills. Advanced computer skills; Opera experience preferred. Previous experience as a Front Desk Agent is preferred. Requires full availability including days, nights, weekends, and holidays. Responsibilities: Prints occupancy, arrivals departures, and back-up reports on a timely basis. Reviews Specials Report for all arriving guests on a daily basis to ensure appropriate pre-blocking of rooms and to coordinate special services to be provided. Coordinates with Housekeeping and Room Service to satisfy all requests. Monitors check-outs, pre-registered guests, and room moves. Checks for duplicate reservations and status of out-of-order rooms and showrooms. Reviews group resumes to verify group billing procedures. Answers department phone lines. Assist Front Desk Agents with check-in, check-outs, and resolving guest requests or complaints when required. Other duties as assigned.
