We're currently looking for exceptional candidates who want to be part of our professional, energetic and "settle for no less than the best" team as the hotel's General Manager! To get the best trajectory and ultimate success in this role, we prefer candidates who have previous hospitality leadership experience, and we may provide preference to candidates with a Hilton branded background.
About the Role
Responsible for all aspects of controllable measures including service, reputation, ranking, cleanliness, preventative maintenance, accounting, sales and revenue, you will provide the day-to-day leadership and direction, with a strong emphasis on driving revenue, maintaining satisfaction goals, and maximizing financial returns. Your ability to spearhead the development of your team, create and maintain a unique guest experience, execute and adhere to brand standards, and build awareness of our hotel and brand in the local community will be instrumental in your success.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Plan, direct and coordinate activities of the organization or department(s).
- Ensures the highest standards of service, quality and comfort exist for our guests. Oversee the activities of all staff members in order to ensure adherence to hotel policies and procedures.
- Maintains positive guest relations and presents a professional image through your associates.
- Reviews and maintains accurate records of hotel funds and information including, but not limited to, cash sheets, accounts receivable and payable, credit card reconciliations, and registration information.
- Review and validate vendor invoices and process timely payments.
- Processes biweekly payroll. Verifies time entries. Ensure proper and lawful pay to all employees.
- Adheres to budgeted guidelines for expenses and operating needs.
- Responsible for resolving escalated customer relations issues. Appropriately address guest requests to ensure customers are satisfied with the hotel’s services and accommodations.
- Interviewing, hiring, onboarding, evaluating, developing, and disciplining staff when necessary.
- Actively participate in the sales process.
- Conduct and attend required meetings with associates, departments, and corporate office staff where necessary.

Skills & Qualifications
- Effective leadership and communication skillset.

- Ability to motivate and inspire direct reports to accomplish defined goals.
- Open schedule/availability. The hospitality business is 24/7/365.
- Professional-level appearance and presentation.
- Technical knowledge helpful. Must be capable of using general computer programs and office machinery.
- Previous experience with Marriott, IHG, Hilton, Hyatt, Choice or other top-level brand is required for consideration.
- Local candidates preferred but not required.
- Hotel opening experience helpful.
Pay: $67,000.00 - $75,000.00 per year
