Position Summary
The Driver/Bellman plays an important dual role in ensuring a welcoming arrival experience and safe, efficient transportation for guests. This position is responsible for greeting guests, assisting with luggage, providing shuttle or vehicle service, and maintaining a positive, professional image of the hotel at all times.
Your role:
- Be the face of our hotel - warmly greet and assist arriving guests
- Uphold Marriott's hospitality standards and contribute to a welcoming atmosphere
- Assist guests with luggage, packages, and personal items.
- Deliver amenities, packages, and guest requests promptly.
- Provide local area information, directions, and recommendations.
- Operate hotel vehicles (shuttle vans, company cars, etc.) safely and professionally.
- Transport guests to and from designated locations.
- Ensure vehicles are clean, fueled, and in good working condition; report maintenance needs.
- Assist guests entering and exiting the vehicle and handle baggage with care.
- Adhere to all traffic, safety, and company regulations.
What we're looking for:
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Previous hospitality or customer service experience preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lift and carry luggage (up to 50 lbs).
- Professional appearance and guest-focused attitude.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
