LEAD CARPENTER / FIELD LEAD

$35-$45 Per Hour DOE
Full-Time | Year-Round Work
Lodestar Construction is seeking an experienced Lead Carpenter / Field Lead to join our growing team.
We build custom homes, large additions, high-end remodels, ADUs, and select commercial projects throughout North Idaho and Spokane County, Washington.
We are not looking for an apprentice.
We are not looking for someone who wants to grow into a lead role.
We are looking for an experienced carpenter who can step onto a project, solve problems, lead others, and keep work moving forward with minimal supervision.
Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality framing, siding, trim, and finish carpentry
- Read and interpret plans and specifications
- Lead and mentor apprentices
- Coordinate daily field activities
- Identify and solve jobsite problems
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive jobsite
- Verify work meets company quality standards
- Assist with punch work and project closeout
Requirements
- 5 years residential construction experience
- Ability to read plans and work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience leading others in the field
- Professional communication skills
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record

- Read plans
- Lead people
- Solve construction problems
- Work independently
You should already possess those skills.
