You will be responsible for maintaining equipment standards, ensuring operational safety, and supporting our facility’s daily production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Material Handling & Logistics: Efficiently load, unload, sort, and transport materials to and from processing areas, railroad cars, trucks, and storage bins.
- Precision Operation: Skillfully operate levers, pedals, and lifting devices to maneuver heavy loads safely and accurately.
- Equipment Maintenance & Care: Perform daily inspections, fueling, and cleaning. Document mechanical performance and proactively report maintenance needs to ensure equipment longevity and safety.
- Operational Support: Assist in hazardous waste handling/shipping processes and participate in physical inventory counts to maintain accurate stock records.
- Safety Excellence: Actively contribute to our site safety culture by following all protocols and participating in company-wide safety programs.
- Proven experience operating heavy mobile equipment (e.g., knuckleboom, wheel loader, front-end loader).
- Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.
- Commitment to maintaining a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Note: Candidates for Level 3 will receive comprehensive training to achieve the qualifications and proficiency standards of a Level 2 Operator.
