Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team on a PRN (as needed) basis. As an RN at Locust Ridge Nursing Home, you will work closely with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care to our residents. Essential Functions:
- Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers
- Assist in daily care of residents, including bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living
- Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident’s personal belongings, and report suspected abuse or neglect
- Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- Certification as an RN (Registered Nurse) required
- Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift, and transfer residents
