Essential Functions:

• Maintain a positive and professional demeanor towards residents, visitors, families, and co-workers

• Assist in daily care of residents, such as bathing, grooming, dressing, transferring, repositioning, and other activities of daily living

• Promote and protect resident rights, treat residents with dignity and respect, protect resident's personal belongings, report suspected abuse or neglect

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

• Certification: State Tested Nursing Assistant (STNA) certification required

• Experience: Good documentation, communication, and interpersonal skills; must be able to use proper lift technique and lift equipment to move, lift and transfer residents
