What are the responsibilities and job description for the Saturday Asst. Office Manager - Dance Studio position at Locust Performing Arts Center of Stamford?
We are seeking a part-time Assistant Office Manager to join our team for our upcoming Fall 2026-Spring 2027 season! The role includes various aspects of running a dance studio. Hours are Saturdays 8 am-3 pm, from mid-September to May. Additional opportunities to work on an as-needed/substitute basis, as well as for future seasons, may be available as well.
Responsibilities:
- Customer service to families and children
- Communicating in an articulate and friendly manner via phone, email and in-person
- Processing registrations, billing, class and account changes, reporting
- Managing records and information
- Acting as a liaison between teachers and clients
- Providing administrative assistance to the management team and directors
- Providing support at performing arts events
- Maintaining basic upkeep/order of the facility
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in administrative services or other related fields
- Ability to prioritize, multi-task and problem-solve
- Excellent communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Office
- Strong organizational skills
- Degree or experience in the arts, business or administration a plus
- Candidate must be local to Stamford, CT
Pay: From $18.00 per hour
