Opportunity Details
Medicus has partnered with a leading hospital in eastern West Virginia that has an exclusive opportunity for an OB Hospitalist to provide locum coverage.
This opportunity offers a balanced mix of obstetric and emergent gynecologic care in a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: 24-hour shifts
- Level III NICU, delivering as early as 25 weeks
- Patient Volume: 80-100 deliveries per month, 1,800 OB ED visits annually
- Comfortability with GYN ED cases, including laparoscopic and ectopic pregnancies, is preferred but not required
- Support Staff: Midwives and family medicine OB on backup call, MFM onsite, in-house anesthesia
- EMR: Epic
- Must be board-certified
- Paid travel & expenses
