LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in Alaska!
Our client in Alaska is seeking a skilled Physician specializing in Obstetrics/Gynecology for a 90-day assignment starting Jul 21, 2026. This role involves a comprehensive range of obstetric and gynecological duties, including various delivery types, amniocentesis, and managing both low and high-risk pregnancies, with schedule details to be determined.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform amniocentesis.
- Conduct routine deliveries, including vaginal and low forceps.
- Make critical decisions regarding c-sections.
- Manage complicated deliveries.
- Provide care for low-risk pregnancies.
- Oversee high-risk pregnancies.
- Interpret FHR (NST/CST/FSE).
- Perform and interpret OB Ultrasounds, including Level I/Screening (viability) and Level II/Targeted (anatomic) studies.
Additional Information
- Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology required.
- Experience with Athenahealth and Cerner EMR systems.
