Position Overview
A respected regional healthcare system in South Carolina is seeking an experienced OB/GYN Physician for an ongoing locum tenens assignment combining outpatient clinic and inpatient obstetrical call.
This flexible opportunity allows physicians to customize their schedule with 12-hour or 24-hour call while maintaining continuity of care through 2–3 outpatient clinic days each week. You'll become an important part of rebuilding a growing women's health program while providing comprehensive obstetrical and gynecologic care to an underserved community.
The assignment offers manageable patient volumes, flexible scheduling, collaborative leadership, and an excellent work-life balance in a welcoming South Carolina community.
Provider Compensation
- $235/hour clinic
- $4,250 per 24-hour call (includes first two callback hours)
- $2,125 per 12-hour call (includes first callback hour)
- $250/hour callback
- ASAP start
- Ongoing assignment
- Inpatient and outpatient practice
- Flexible 12-hour or 24-hour call
- One-week call blocks preferred
- 2–3 clinic days weekly
- Monday–Thursday clinic: 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
- Friday clinic: 8:30 AM–12:00 PM
- 20–30 clinic patients daily
- Approximately four deliveries weekly
- Rural community hospital
- Independent practice environment
- Future Midwife/APP support planned
- Circumcisions not required
- BC/BE accepted
- South Carolina license required
