LocumJobsOnline is working with Curative to find a qualified Obstetrics and Gynecology MD in Iron Mountain, Michigan, 49801!
OB/GYN locums in Michigan with 24 hour in house style coverage and a defined 6pm to 6pm shift structure, supporting a long term need while the site recruits permanently.
Highlights
- Any active state license accepted; Active license available or IMLC (LOQ) on hand preferred
- Long term assignment with consistent monthly need, 7 to 10 days per month
- Trauma Level 4 facility with steady L&D volume, 319 deliveries in 2025
- Cerner charting
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient OB/GYN coverage
- Labor and delivery plus phone consults and admissions as needed
- Typical volumes, 12 clinic; 1 to 2 hospital; 1 to 2 patients seen; 1 to 2 admissions
- Support team on site, 2 RNs, 2 MAs, 1 APP, 1 Admin
Schedule
- 6pm to 6pm shifts
- 24 hour call coverage with 15 minute response time
- Target coverage, 7 to 10 days per month
- Some upcoming blocks are being prioritized, late summer and several weeks in December
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO
- Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology or Board Eligible within 5 years
- Active medical license in any US state; Active license available or IMLC (LOQ) on hand preferred
- Credentialing, clean file required; about 60 days
