• Support Staff Available: 11 daytime hospitalist rounders, 1 nocturnist, 2 daytime NP/PA rounders, 1 NP/PA nocturnist

JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Louisiana medical license required
• Board: Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine through ABMS; Board Eligible within 5 years
• DEA: Active DEA with Louisiana address required
• Certifications: BLS and ACLS required
• Experience: Residency trained in Internal Medicine
• Other Qualifications: CME and case logs from past 2 years required; complete credentialing documentation required; H-1B and J-1 visa candidates accepted
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide comprehensive inpatient medical care to hospitalized adult patients
• Perform daily rounding and coordinate patient care plans
• Collaborate with NP/PA staff and specialty consultants
• Manage admissions, discharges, and ongoing inpatient treatment
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely
• Participate in a team-based hospitalist coverage model
