- 12-hour shifts -- day (7 am - 7 pm) and night (7 pm - 7 am)
- No back-to-back 12-hour shifts creating 24 hours of patient care
- Average daily census: 12 - 15 patients, busier on weekdays
- 4 admits per day; swing bed patients seen in addition to census
- Critical access hospital
- Tele-intensivists available for ICU patient consultation
- Procedure support from ED, radiology, cardiology, and CRNAs
- ACLS certification required
- We negotiate better pay and deposit it weekly
