- Experience: Residency trained in Emergency Medicine, Family Medicine, or Internal Medicine; new graduates accepted
- Other Qualifications: Case logs for past 2 years; CMEs for past 2 years; Immunizations: Flu (current season), TB (within 12 months), COVID vaccine; ABEM MOC participation if ABEM-certified; Supervising physician requirements for NP/PA oversight
- Provide emergency medical care to patients of all ages in a Level 3 trauma center
- Supervise and collaborate with NP/PA staff during their 16-hour coverage
- Perform procedures consistent with Emergency Medicine scope of practice
- Document all patient encounters accurately in the Epic EMR system
- Complete facility-required sedation modules during onboarding and reappointment
