This hospital in Southern Indiana operates as a Level II trauma center providing comprehensive interventional cardiology services with modern cardiac catheterization laboratory equipment. The facility maintains established protocols for emergency STEMI interventions and routine cardiac procedures with dedicated clinical support staff for optimal patient care delivery. The institution utilizes EPIC EMR for patient documentation and care coordination.

The region offers diverse attractions including art museums, urban parks, and nature areas suitable for various interests and budgets. Visitors can access smaller amusement parks, interactive museums, and indoor entertainment venues with limited capacity. The area provides options for both cultural experiences and outdoor activities, with travel packages available that include transportation arrangements.

The interventional cardiologist will provide comprehensive cardiac care managing up to 30 patients daily with both inpatient and clinic responsibilities Monday through Friday from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. The position requires 24-hour call coverage including STEMI call management with 1-2 calls per night and handling unassigned calls ranging from 5-10 per night. The clinician will perform cardiac catheterizations, TEEs, cardioversions, tilt table procedures, and nuclear stress tests while maintaining accurate documentation through the EPIC EMR system. Weekend call coverage extends from 7:00 PM Friday to 7:00 AM Monday with continuous availability for emergency cardiac interventions.
