Locums Cardiology opportunity in New Mexico with an outpatient-only focus, no call, and a predictable weekday schedule-excellent for physicians who want steady clinic coverage while a permanent hire is finalized.
Practice Setting
- Outpatient cardiology clinic
- Average volume around 20 patients per day
- Support team includes 4 nurses, an MA, and dedicated office staff
Schedule
- Monday-Thursday: 8a-5p
- Friday: 8a-3p
- Full-time, ongoing assignment until a permanent physician is hired
- No call coverage required
Cases and Procedures
- Clinic-only cardiology
- Supervision of stress tests
- Interpretation/reading of cardiac testing (as applicable)
- No procedures required
Requirements
- Must be an MD/DO
- Board Certified in Cardiovascular Disease
- Minimum 24 months of experience
- Active New Mexico license required (unable to wait for license)
- Credentialing timeframe is approximately 45 days
