About the Position
LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Neurosurgery PA in Virginia!
We are seeking a Neurological Surgery Physician Assistant for a 42-day assignment in Virginia, starting Jul 13, 2026. This role involves a 7 on 7 off night shift rotation (7pm - 7am) across three hospital locations, focusing on pre-operative and post-operative rounding, and managing a diverse patient population including trauma, elective spine, and cranial cases.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform pre-operative and post-operative rounding.
- Manage a patient population that includes trauma patients (spine and crani), elective spine patients, and elective crani patients.
- Conduct removal of drains.
- Perform shunt adjustments.
- Participate in trauma and practice call.
- No operating room duties are required for this position.
Additional Information
- Required Board Certifications: Neurological Surgery, Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC).
- EMR System: Epic.
- Shift hours are 7pm - 7am.
