LocumJobsOnline is working with Barton Associates to find a qualified Vascular Surgery NP in Missouri!
Our client in Missouri is seeking a dedicated Surgery - Cardiovascular & Thoracic Nurse Practitioner for an 84-day assignment starting Jul 13, 2026. This role involves 0600-1830 shifts split between the OR and clinic, with a focus on Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH) proficiency, assisting with ECMO cannulations, and managing pre/post-operative patients. Responsibilities also include documentation and solo weekend coverage with attending backup.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform OR and Clinic duties.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Endovascular Vein Harvesting (EVH), aiming for 45-60 minute harvest times.
- Assist in ECMO cannulations.
- Participate in cases including CABG, Aortic dissection, and Impella placement and removal.
- Manage pre-operative and post-operative patients, including those on ECMO.
- Provide documentation for clinic patients (4-9 per day in consult clinic).
- Cover weekends as a solo provider with an attending available for support.
Additional Information
- Required: Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Certification (ACNP-BC).
- EMR System: Epic.
- Endovascular vein harvesting proficiency is a critical requirement.
