• Shift Schedule: (7:00 AM – 8:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 8:00 AM)
- Three 13-hour shifts per week
- Rotating weekends every 3–6 weeks

REQUIRED PROCEDURES
• First Assist in Cardiac Surgery OR (Preferred)
• Inpatient Cardiac Surgery Management
• Chest Tube Insertion
• Chest Tube Management
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Licenses: Active Connecticut NP or PA License
• Board: Board Certified/Board Eligible as Applicable
• Experience: Inpatient cardiac surgery experience preferred; minimum experience in cardiac surgery required
• Other Qualifications: First Assist experience preferred (inpatient experience considered); Epic experience preferred
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide inpatient cardiac surgery coverage.
• Assist in cardiac surgery procedures.
• Perform chest tube insertion and management.
• Collaborate with the cardiac surgery team.
• Document patient care in Epic.
