We are seeking a skilled Anesthetist for an exciting 96-day locum tenens assignment in Tennessee, starting Oct 1, 2026. Our client needs an Anesthetist to provide medical direction, managing a diverse range of cases including neuro, spine, thoracic/lung, vascular, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, pediatrics, and women’s services. This role offers flexible 8, 10, or 12-hour shifts with no call or weekend requirements.
Responsibilities and Duties
- Provide medical direction for cases
- Manage a wide variety of cases including neuro, spine, thoracic/lung, vascular, general surgery, orthopedics, plastics, pediatrics (excluding sick pediatrics or neonates), and women’s services
- Work in a large, high-acuity hospital environment with extensive operating room facilities
- Collaborate with a cardiac team for pump cases
- Perform surgical services across all specialties except transplants
