Job Responsibilities
- Manages and perform system design, including calculations, equipment selection, layout, and drawing preparation.
- Plan and conduct evaluation and site observation. Review project documents, specifications, and design options; ensure code compliance through meetings and reviews. Make recommendations based on findings.
- Conduct site investigations and technical research to support design decisions.
- May mentor, lead or supervise staff; assign tasks and checks work for accuracy.
- Apply standard engineering practices and software tools to produce high-quality deliverables.
- Demonstrates working knowledge of relevant codes and design standards.
- Build and develop internal and external relationships
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering
- Professional Engineer License (PE)
- 4 years’ experience
- Valid driver’s license
- To understand the concepts of Hydraulic analysis of water and/or wastewater systems
- Licensed as a Professional Engineer (PE)
- AICP certification is a plus
- GIS applications using ArcGIS Pro
- Knowledge of Innovyze or Bentley modeling softwares (e.g., WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS, InfoWater Pro, InfoWorks ICM)
