The Client Relationship Leader – Family Office is responsible for managing and expanding complex Family Office client relationships within Lockton Private Risk Solutions. This role serves as a trusted advisor to Family Office clients, delivering strategic risk management guidance while supporting retention, growth, and service excellence.
The role includes responsibility for overseeing the work of assigned associates and account team members, providing day-to-day guidance, support, and development, while partnering closely with Division and PRS leadership to ensure alignment with Lockton’s client service standards and business objectives.

The Client Relationship Leader – Family Office is responsible for managing and expanding complex Family Office client relationships within Lockton Private Risk Solutions. This role serves as a trusted advisor to Family Office clients, delivering strategic risk management guidance while supporting retention, growth, and service excellence.
The role includes responsibility for overseeing the work of assigned associates and account team members, providing day-to-day guidance, support, and development, while partnering closely with Division and PRS leadership to ensure alignment with Lockton’s client service standards and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and support assigned associates and account team members to ensure effective service delivery and professional development.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to Family Office and ultra-high-net-worth clients, providing strategic risk management and insurance guidance.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships to support retention and profitable growth.
- Ensure consistent execution of Private Risk Solutions service standards through ongoing oversight and collaboration with account teams.
- Participate in client discovery meetings, key renewals, and proposal presentations as needed.
- Support revenue growth through new business opportunities and cross-selling initiatives.
- Develop and maintain strong carrier, vendor, and market relationships to support complex placements.
- Share technical expertise, best practices, and industry knowledge to support associate development.
- Remain current on industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory requirements.
- Bachelor’s degree in a business-related field preferred, or equivalent education and experience.
- Typically 5 years of Private Risk or ultra-high-net-worth brokerage experience, including complex insurance programs for Family Offices or UHNW clients.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience directly servicing High-Net-Worth clients.
- Demonstrated experience overseeing or supporting associate work and development.
- Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to maintain licensing and complete continuing education requirements.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to attend company, department, and industry meetings and training sessions.
- Flexibility to work extended hours as business needs require.
- Ability to travel by automobile and aircraft.
- Legally authorized to work in the United States.
- Ability to work in-office 3–5 days per week.
