- Where money is being lost
- Trends in sales and performance
- Reconciling bank accounts and credit cards
- Working with our POS / scheduling system (locksmith jobs)
- Helping improve pricing, margins, and cost control
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience in bookkeeping for small businesses
- Strong understanding of profit & loss (not just data entry)
- Experience with QuickBooks Online (REQUIRED)
- Ability to create clear, simple reports (not complicated spreadsheets)
- Honest, reliable, and detail-oriented
- Strong analytical thinking (can explain what the numbers mean)
- Comfortable working with daily job data
Bonus if you have:
- Experience with service businesses (HVAC, plumbing, locksmith, etc.)
- Experience with job costing or field service software
- Ability to suggest improvements to increase profit
What Success Looks Like:
- We can see daily:
- How much we made

- What we actually profited
- We clearly know which jobs are worth doing—and which are not
- We make better business decisions based on real numbers
Compensation:
- Based on experience $16 - $25 per hour
- Opportunity to grow with the company
