Description:Administer a fleet of approximately 40 regular- and heavy-duty automobiles, 25 trailers, and 10 generators to ensure they are safe to operate, have current registrations, insurance, maintenance, and availability.
Serve as the main person to shuttle this equipment to/from maintenance in the Las Cruces/El Paso areas.
Use company-issued Purchasing card to pay for services, and reconcile monthly, with affordability in mind.
Maintain schedules and maintenance/repair records for compliance.
Establish accountability for vehicle keys.
Act as the personnel trainer for Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) operators.
Serve as part of the missile assembly/disassembly, and ground and flight test operations teams at WSMR.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline, or equivalent experience/combined education, with 3 years of professional experience.
Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving history.
Ability to safely drive tractor-trailer combinations, tow/back trailers with pickup trucks, and operate heavy equipment.
Familiarity with requirements set forth by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA).
Demonstrated effective communications (written and oral), and demonstrated proficiency with MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook) and web-based information systems.
Ability to obtain a secret security clearance and also must be able to obtain an interim secret security clearance prior to start. Therefore, all candidates must be US Citizens.
Desired Skills:
Current DoD Secret security clearance.
Familiarity with hazardous materials handling.
Familiar with operations on test ranges.
Experience with ordnance operations.
