Lead Server/Bartender

Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and experienced Lead Server/Bartender to elevate our hospitality team. Duties

• Lead and supervise the bar and dining team to ensure smooth service flow and uphold high standards of hospitality
• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including cocktails, wine, craft beers, and spirits, utilizing your extensive mixology knowledge
• Develop and refine beverage recipes to keep offerings fresh and innovative, aligning with guest preferences and current trends
• Manage cash handling, processing cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Oversee food service operations, including serving guests at the bar and tables, ensuring timely delivery of orders
• Maintain food safety standards and proper food handling procedures in compliance with health regulations
• Assist in training staff on POS systems, beverage preparation, customer service techniques, and food safety protocols
• Handle guest inquiries professionally while creating a lively atmosphere that encourages repeat visits
• Manage bar inventory levels, order supplies as needed, and oversee proper storage practices for beverages and food items
• Support banquet and catering events by providing exceptional service in a variety of settings within the hospitality industry

Qualifications

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with a focus on bar management or bartending roles
• Extensive cocktail experience along with knowledge of wine, spirits, brewing processes, and beverage recipe development
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS; prior experience with cashiering and cash handling required
• Strong time management skills to juggle multiple tables and bar orders efficiently during busy hours
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to create a welcoming environment for diverse guests
• Fine dining experience or upscale hospitality background preferred but not required
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and organization
• Basic math skills for retail math calculations related to sales, tips, and inventory management
• Hospitality industry experience with banquet or catering services is a plus
