Overview
We are seeking dedicated and vigilant Door Person, and Bouncers to join our team, at an upcoming busy Urban Nightclub in the downtown area. Candidates MUST have NYS Security license at the time of interview. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our premises while providing excellent customer service. As the first point of contact for guests and visitors, the Door Person, and bouncers will be responsible for monitoring access to the facility, maintaining a welcoming environment, and assisting with any security-related issues that may arise.
Duties
- Manage conflicts effectively by employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate situations when necessary.
- Conduct regular surveillance of the area to identify potential security threats or suspicious behavior.
- Provide assistance in emergency situations, including administering CPR and first aid as needed.
- Collaborate with law enforcement when required, maintaining clear communication regarding any incidents or concerns.
- Maintain a professional demeanor while interacting with guests, addressing inquiries, and providing directions as necessary.
- Conduct mandatory search and inpsection of every patron that comes in
- id validation of every patron
Qualifications
- Previous experience in security or law enforcement is preferred but not mandatory.
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
- Certification in CPR and First Aid is highly desirable.
- A background in military service or law enforcement can be beneficial for this role.
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail to identify potential risks or issues promptly.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members.
