Job Description:

Rough Opening Modification: Modify framing as necessary in order to provide for adequate weather sealing and proper installation of doors and windows.

Rough Opening Preparation: Thoughtfully weatherproof the rough opening framing for the door or window to be installed in accordance with best practices.

Window installation: Work on ladders, scaffolding, and mechanical lifts to access site for installation. Use levels, lasers, and other tools as necessary to place windows in place to satisfy architectural and aesthetic requirements, as well as company standards for weatherproofing and installation.. Must be able to lift up to 250lbs maintaining proper form. Includes a variety of sizes, shapes and configurations, as well as field mulling procedures at times.

Door installation: Work on ladders, scaffolding, and mechanical lifts to access site for installation. Use levels, lasers, and other tools as necessary to place doors in place to satisfy architectural and aesthetic requirements, as well as company standards for weatherproofing and installation. Must be able to lift up to 250lbs maintaining proper form. Includes all types and sizes of standard doors.

Specialty door installation: Work on ladders, scaffolding, and mechanical lifts to access site for installation. Use levels, lasers, and other tools as necessary to place doors in place to satisfy architectural and aesthetic requirements, as well as company standards for weatherproofing and installation. Must be able to lift up to 250lbs maintaining proper form.

Preferred Prerequisite Skills:

• Can accurately read a tape measure.
• Competent at driving nails with a hammer.
• Comfortable with heights.
• Experience using power tools.
• Reliable transportation
