What are the responsibilities and job description for the Associate Attorney position at Lock Gordon Law Group?
Lock Gordon's founding partners are former members of full service national and international law firms who have handled complex high exposure matters from the beginning of their now decades long careers. Lock Gordon serves as national trial counsel for Fortune 500 corporations and leading businesses and further handles high-exposure cases on behalf of excess insurers and their insureds. Among other practice areas, Lock Gordon attorneys specialize in catastrophic tort, transportation, trucking, premises liability, negligent security, product liability, employment, and commercial cases.
Lock Gordon has an immediate opening for a full-time litigation Associate in our Columbus, Ohio office. Candidates should have at least 5 years of experience in handling an active litigation case load. Candidates should possess superior analytical skills and strong written and oral communication skills and will be expected to independently manage a litigation caseload from beginning to end, work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects, regularly handle court appearances and depositions, and communicate with clients and provide status reports.
Candidates must have a JD from an accredited law school and be admitted to practice in Ohio. Admission to the U.S. District courts in Ohio is a plus.
