We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Area Manager to lead the operations of self-storage facilities within a designated region. Responsibilities
- Oversee the daily operations of multiple self-storage facilities, ensuring smooth and efficient management across all sites. At present we have five locations in NJ and PA and may be adding more soon.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to increase occupancy rates, revenue, and profitability for each location.
- Lead, motivate, and supervise site managers and staff to deliver outstanding customer service and operational excellence.
- Review profit and loss statements, identify opportunities for process improvements to maximize profitability.
- Drive business development initiatives by building relationships with local communities, commercial clients, and potential customers.
- Coordinate project management efforts for facility upgrades, maintenance, or new site openings to ensure timely completion within budget.
- Establish standardized procedures for safety compliance, security protocols, and operational processes to enhance efficiency and reduce risks.
- Monitor market trends and competitor activities to adapt strategies that position the facilities as industry leaders in service quality and value.
Requirements
