Summary/Objective

The Titles Supervisor will be responsible for the oversight, supervision and development of a high-performance Titles team. The successful individual will supervise the day to day operations of the Titles Specialty team, as a subject matter expert for their assigned processes. This individual will work cross-functionally with other departmental managers as a service-provider, and interact regularly with external sources such as lienholders, motor vehicle departments, and vendors as a service-recipient.


The Titles Supervisor will lead the team in a variety of ways, including:

  • Mail Management (receiving, sorting delivering)
  • Processing, Scanning & Documentation
  • File Room Management (accurate filing & retrieval of files)
  • Facilitating Calls to lienholders, DMVs, & customers

Essential Functions

  • Create/manage processes and procedures for the effective function Title Specialty team
  • Manage staff, workflow and monitors their work to ensure accuracy and completion of tasks
  • Organizes and oversees the schedules and attendance of team members
  • Establishes KPIs for team members and conducts performance evaluations based upon those metrics
  • Assists team members with escalations and high priority assignments
  • Collaborates with leadership on the team training programs including developing and implementing new hire training and ongoing training efforts for current team members
  • Helps create Titles training material, training and roll out of segmented training
  • Assists with other Title Dept duties when needed

Education and Experience

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent required
  • 5 years relevant professional experience, including 1-2 years in a lead/supervisor role
  • Detail orientated with excellent time management skills; ability manage competing priorities to meet deadlines
  • Exceptional customer service, organizational, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills that will be used to generate resolutions for escalated accounts
  • Excellent coaching skills, including verbal and written communication skills
  • Physical Requirements


Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position. Days and hours of work are variable and based on business need. Evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand. The Titles Supervisor will have approximately 20% travel.


Physical Requirements

This position is indoors. Must be able to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period. May be asked to lift approximately 25 lbs. Exposure to moderate noise and light, i.e. business office with computers, phone, printers, light foot traffic.
