*Job Summary* (This is a tipped position) We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Food Runner to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced hospitality environment. The Food Runner plays a crucial role in ensuring that our guests receive their meals promptly and efficiently, contributing to an exceptional dining experience. This position requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for the culinary arts. *Responsibilities* - Deliver food and beverages from the kitchen to the dining area in a timely manner. - Assist servers in managing guest orders and ensuring accuracy. - Maintain cleanliness and organization of the service area. - Communicate effectively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations. - Help set up and break down banquet events as needed. - Support the culinary team by assisting with food handling and preparation tasks. - Uphold high standards of food safety and hygiene practices. *Experience* - Previous experience in a food service or hospitality role is preferred. - Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. - Knowledge of culinary practices and food handling procedures is beneficial. - Experience working in a hotel or banquet setting is advantageous but not required. - A passion for helping others and providing excellent customer service is essential.
