Locals Only Gifts and Goods is looking for a dynamic, responsible and punctual people pleaser to work at our North Chattanooga store. Locals Only is a local retail store that features Tennessee made goods with an emphasis on Chattanooga made products. We are looking for someone to work approximately 30 hours per week. Open weekend availability on Friday, Saturday and Sunday is a must. Some retail experience is a plus, but not required. A great attitude and customer first mentality is. Sound like you? STAFF MEMBER JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide above and beyond customer service.
Keep a neat and and clean work area and sales floor.
Be familiar with and be able to speak about the goods that we sell.
Greet each customer as they walk into the store.
Good interpersonal savvy.
Operate the Point of Sale system.
Make change for customer purchases without error.
Accurately count and process incoming inventory.
Accurately price and merchandise products per company standards.
Maintain positive vendor relationships.
Make deposits at the end of the day.
Other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Powerful customer service skills Customer management skills.
Strong organizational skills.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Must be able to lift up to 35 pounds.
