What are the responsibilities and job description for the Seasonal Nursery Associate position at Locally Owned and Operated Ace Hardware Store?
Right now we’re looking for a friendly, plant loving, motivated person to join our team, which is responsible for the physical work of keeping the live goods area attractive, clean, organized and alive. Nursery Associates spend their days primarily doing work with plants and pots. They interact with customers every day as well, so you should love working with people as much as you love working with plants.
You’ll be expected to lift, carry, and move plants and other items on a daily basis. You must be able to lift 50 pounds regularly. You’ll load sold merchandise into vehicles, clean the nursery, move plants and pottery, and create displays with direction from more experienced staff members.
Customer service experience in any industry would be a major plus. The job will take place between the dates of April 13th, 2020 and June 12th, 2020. Possible future employment possible but not guaranteed.
Available 10am-6pm daily and enjoy working outside.
